Parking Brake Fix - Foxbody Restomod Part 122 - Short video today, we're fixing the parking brake with the Motorcraft bracket. I kind of botched the install a bit but its pretty easy to recover from a mistake on this. Thankfully, this method requires no welding.
Previously, in an earlier episode, we cleaned the handle up a bit and installed it along with an adjustable cable. We found that it wasn't working correctly. To make it work, you can either cut the spring and weld it to the sector gear (or something similar) OR you can use the bracket. I bought mine from LMR.
It is manufacturer's part number 1R3Z-2A753-BA or LRS-2753BA on LMR called the "E-Brake Handle Adjuster Lockout".
